The three I have are the Perfect American Sweetheart lip, the Perfect English beauty lip and (you guessed it) the Perfect Shanghai Nights red lip. All three flatter me (quite pale with naturally red lips) and from what I have seen on others, they are versatile too.
If you're wondering how these products look on the skin, I've swatched my collection so far, so take a peak.
My last product is from The Rebel look and it is the luxury palette.
I am obsessed, the pigment is crazy and it smokes out like a dream.
It does not crease and it lasts me the whole night.
The palette contains four colors and all four have beaten my expectations.
I know it's unoriginal, but I always compare my eyeshadow products to my favourite, the Modern Renaissance palette, and many other shadows just don't compare.
See the shimmer, even in the nude tone!
It still glows and each color has impact that compliment the other.
These products are all products I go to daily, and the selection means you can really play around with different looks.
Each one shadow alone is worth the price tag, and each surpassed my expectations.
Give them a go and let me know how you get on, and keep an eye peeled for my tutorial on Youtube going live… very soon!
To go blonde it took me over a month to bring my hair from a three to a ten, and it was an arduous (and slightly embarrassing) process. Along the way my hair was probably, at one point, every single color on the chart between the two numbers. My hair hovered at ginger for one very long week, in which I flew to Cornwall for a quick vacation and experienced a never-ending amount of embarrassment for what I had done to my hair. I was scared it wouldn’t lift (a term hairdressers use to refer to the process of lightning) anymore than it already had and I would be stuck with hair I had reeked untold damage on with nothing to show for it.
My hair had gone from down my back to just under my shoulders. I was disappointed but not surprised. The obvious solutions was (besides going back to brown) to invest in extensions. I started with clip-ins and while Ioved how cheap they were, I hated how they looked, how they felt and how long (read: not long at all) they lasted.
Which takes me to today, I now have hair down my waist and it is thicker than ever before. The micro nano extensions I have are not cheap, are not comfortable (at first anyway) and add another hour on to my routine daily. Weirdly enough though, I love them. They make me feel confident and for now that outweighs all the cons.
Skincare- The Basics...
Skincare is a huge topic, and in the market today there are a lot of products that promise the world, but can't deliver.
We want to glow without the grease, have clear skin within a week, and look photoshopped without a drop of foundation.
As bleak as that may sound, there are some products that do deliver, and truly make my skin glow.
Slowly but surely, I'm perfecting my skin care routine, but I'm no where near finished.
The most important thing is to remove your make up every night, that should be the one step you never miss… I am naturally lazy and I try my hardest to do all my steps but I never miss taking my make up off!
My night time routine always starts with cleansing my face with the Kiehl’s Cleansing Centella Skin-calming facial cleanser and my Clinique Sonic System Purifying Brush.
After that I like to use a clarifier from Clinique again with a cotton swap.
After letting that settle in to my skin (which takes awhile) I use my overnight blemish serum on my problem-areas from Asda (yes Asda!).
I’ve only just started using it so lets see how it goes.
I then use my under eye age rescue cream from Lab Series.
My last step is an oil control lotion and then I’m in bed.
I use masks twice a week and it varies on which one I use, but they tend to be from Glamglow!
Look out for my next post and I will explain my different masks
